LHCPD Memorial Day Weekend 2026 Statistics
The Lake Havasu City Police Department has released its Memorial Day Holiday weekend statistics from Friday, May 22, to Monday, May 25, 2026.
The Lake Havasu City Police Department handled 903 calls for service and made 92 arrests. Of these arrests, 50 people were booked into the LHCPD jail, 37 were issued citations and released, and five juveniles were referred and released. Additionally, 14 of the arrests were for felonies.
During holiday weekends in Lake Havasu City, traffic safety is of utmost importance. The LHCPD provided enhanced traffic and DUI enforcement from a grant awarded by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. During this year’s holiday weekend, a total of six DUI offenders were arrested, one of which was aggravated (felony) in nature. A total of 391 drivers were contacted during civil traffic stops with 128 traffic citations issued.
