LHCFD Releases Memorial Day Weekend 2026 Incident Statistics
The Lake Havasu City Fire Department (LHCFD) releases its Memorial Day weekend activity report, covering incidents from Friday, May 22, through Monday, May 25, 2026.
During the holiday weekend, the LHCFD responded to 131 incidents throughout the city, compared to 125 during the previous year’s holiday weekend. Incidents ranged from emergency medical calls to fire-related responses and hazardous conditions.
Emergency medical service incidents made up most of the calls, including 88 medical emergencies. Fire-related activity included four incidents and 39 additional calls for service, including non-emergency and hazardous situation responses.
As expected during one of Lake Havasu City’s busiest weekends, the highest concentration of incidents occurred near the channel and downtown areas, where units were proactively placed to ensure proper coverage.
The Lake Havasu City Fire Department remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and visitors, especially during high-traffic holiday weekends.
